I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family recently! We decided to meet at a local elementary school... MY old school to be exact! The boys are total sweethearts, cheesin it up for the camera, I love it! We had a great time and I really like how the colors pop!

Oh, what a record! What is it now, 29 straight days of rain? With that comes mushrooms in their numerous varieties! They sure are interesting when you look closely! I wonder what the neighbors thought when I was flat on my belly snapping photos of fungus... Hmmm.

I recently got to meet up with a friend of mine for some maternity portraits, she is due in October with her first baby! Doesn't she look great?! Totally glowing! I always love this time, the anticipation of it all! I am excited for her shower in a couple of weeks!

We made a big Alaskan dinner last week, it was good! Luke went to Sagaya's and got the live dungeness crabs and then he broiled some of his fresh caught red salmon!

Amber's Maternity Portraits {Alaska Maternity Photographer}

This was the second time I met up with my friend for some maternity portraits! It was such a great day, we left early and went to a cafe, took our time, laughing and chatting the entire time - just how I prefer a session to be! I love how her images turned out, I hope you do too! I am SO excited for her baby girl to be here in a couple of weeks, stay tuned for her newborn session!

Mine on Mondays - Blueberry Cobbler!

What do you do when the grocery store has fresh blueberries on sale?? Cobbler! This was the first time I had made it, it was surprisingly simple! We got a 3lb tub of berries and the kids spent about a week snacking out of it and I still had enough for my dessert! Yummay!

Edit... don't even ask what is up with my freakazoid son. Just don't go there... hahaha!
