Easter at the Meyers House!

We had a great Easter this year! Luke was at work... yet again... but the kids and I visited with family and had a wonderful day!

Every year on Easter my dad sticks Peeps on a tree in their front yard. It is hilarious and really brightens up the drab colors out at that time of year! Makes me smile every time! And I'm sure the neighborhood moose like it too ;)

I know I always post more photos of Aubrey than Wyatt.... sigh. Its just that she is easier and seems to be more cooperative! Maybe I have worn out my welcome on Wyatt haha! Every once in awhile he cooperate, but usually its a no-go!! Too busy for this stuff- HA!

Alaska Family Photographer {First Communion}

This past weekend my cousin had his First Communion! It was a great day, we are all very proud of him! I had the chance to get some nice family shots and then afterwards everyone came together for cake and pizza! Everybody had a great time, it was nice to relax and visit with my family while we celebrated!

I was also able to snap a quick one of my handsome cousin and his beautiful sister :)

Delightful bridal shower!!!

My cousin is getting married! I am so happy for him, he met a great girl and in about two months they will tie the knot! A few weeks ago my aunt hosted a wonderful bridal shower, it was really great. The food was sooo yummy and everybody had a great time chatting away. My little mischevious one even got into the cake while I was busy with the gift opening!!! Ahhhh!

Ever since I had a slice of this cake I have had a 24/7 craving for icing....

My latest kitchen creation!!!

It should be no news to anybody that I love to bake :) Sweets mostly, but I also like to cook actual meals - haha! My latest project was this lemon cake with lemon filling and sliced strawberries covered in whipped buttercream frosting. Phew! I made it for Easter and still have a bit leftover, calling my name from the cake plate on the kitchen counter!!!

Oooh what a sweetie! I can never get enough of these new little ones. So fresh and perfect, don't you just want to snuggle her? These new wraps of mine are just perfect for spring time!!

Dutch Babies!!!

We decided to celebrate Easter a week early this year since Luke has to work on Easter this year. I made our traditional dutch babies (and ate two) and the kiddos and I dyed eggs. I really enjoyed it!
